Rupert has broad global experience in multiple industries including travel & leisure, marketing loyalty & data analytics, financial services, consumer products and sustainability. He’s been on many public company Boards, was CEO of Aimia for 12 years, chaired the Board of Brain Canada and is the current President of the Art Gallery of Ontario. He is a member of the Order of Canada.

Laura Adams

Laura Adams, Managing Director, has spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley in an assortment of institutional banking roles throughout North America giving her a unique perspective on both public and private capital markets. Her exceptional understanding of the investor world directs TAS on how to approach capital raises and fund offerings.

Cheryl Gray

Cheryl is the immediate past president of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of REIC (Real Estate Institute of Canada).

With over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, Cheryl is currently engaged in the industry as a Real Estate Strategist. She speaks extensively on sustainability, prop tech, smart buildings, pandemic response planning, cyber security and real estate management best practices. In March 2021, Cheryl joined REACH Canada as a mentor to guide Canadian prop tech firms developing their businesses in the real estate industry. She has been acknowledged by the industry for her expertise and contributions, having received recognition and awards for her work by many associations and organizations throughout her career.

Cheryl served as an Executive Vice President and then Head of Special Projects at QuadReal Property Group from January 2017 until December 2020, with a focus on leading enterprise innovation teams that provide expertise on sustainability, environmental health & safety and property management best practices and digital innovation. Prior to QuadReal, Cheryl held executive roles at Bentall Kennedy and senior roles with many leading Canadian real estate firms with responsibility for office, industrial, retail and residential portfolios.

Cheryl earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM in 1990 and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo.

Anatol Von Hahn

Anatol is a Venture Capitalist investing in early stage technology companies. Prior to this, he was the CEO of banks owned by Scotiabank in five different countries, which has provided him a lens on global banking that is truly unique. His understanding of finance and lending within the Canadian context has been invaluable in guiding TAS’s strategy as we scale our projects and organization to ensure that we have the corresponding financial resilience to support our ongoing and long term banking needs at both the project and corporate levels.

Ali Hedayat

Ali’s global finance and private equity career has taken him around the world in the boardrooms of public and private companies. As a seasoned investment banker, he has been behind the growth and restructuring of numerous international companies. As a fund manager his deep understanding of asset allocation and strategy have been insightful to TAS.
