Rupert has broad global experience in multiple industries including travel & leisure, marketing loyalty & data analytics, financial services, consumer products and sustainability. He’s been on many public company Boards, was CEO of Aimia for 12 years, chaired the Board of Brain Canada and is the current President of the Art Gallery of Ontario. He is a member of the Order of Canada.

Ashley Burke

Ashley brings a diverse background to TAS including experience in commercial and multi-family real estate development, investment, and sales/leasing, across western and central Canada.

In her spare time she occupies herself with all things food! She is an avid home chef and loves travelling and trying different cuisines.

Robyn Shapiro

From yoga sessions to warm destinations, Robyn is always ready to face the heat. She’s a key player on acquisitions, joint venture, portfolio strategies, and business development strategies at TAS.

Mazyar Mortazavi

Mazyar has led the evolution of TAS over the past 20 years with a focus of deeply aligning purpose and profit. He is deeply committed to unlocking equity across all community stakeholders and leading the evolution of capital as a tool to drive long term resiliency. Mazyar’s commitment to leveraging capital to drive impact, coupled with enhancing profitability through deep engagement have positioned TAS as a leader in community-focused real estate development. Mazyar is active and involved in the community as Chair of The Bentway, Trustee at the Art Gallery of Ontario and across the YPO network.

Liza Stiff

Liza is an avid backyard farmer and keen cyclist, she enjoys spending the warmer months river tubing and loves to take part in all forms of snow sports in the winter. She brings a background in architecture, experience in major P3 projects and a passion for people to her work with TAS.

Leslie Najgebauer

Leslie is a purpose-driven, people-first executive with 13+ years of senior leadership experience scaling city-building organizations in the private and not-for-profit sectors. At TAS, she bridges vision and execution—partnering across functions and all levels to foster alignment, structure, discipline, and agility to drive organizational growth and impact.

Khan Tran

Khan has 15 years of experience in finance and real estate with a focus on investments and asset management. He has held progressive leadership roles at PwC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CPP Investment Board. He is a certified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and also holds a BBA from Wilfred Laurier University. 

Khan is passionate about his family, taking time to enjoy the lighter things in life, and leveraging TAS’s platform to drive positive social and environmental impact. When he’s not chasing his kids around, he enjoys a good meal, following politics and watching mindless movies.
