Evolution & Legacy
1980s
As new immigrants to Canada, Babak and Tooran Mortazavi founded TAS because they saw custom home building as a powerful tool that could help families thrive.
1990s
During its first 20 years of operations, TAS delivered over 120 homes to families in neighborhoods across Toronto. The firm was recognized and celebrated as an industry leader for its focus on quality, livability, and design in every detail.
2000s
Mazyar Mortazavi joined his parents at the leadership table, TAS entered Toronto’s emerging condominium market and started delivering ground-up mixed-use development projects.
2010s
TAS launched its private equity platform and started attracting a diverse range of partners seeking to align their capital and expertise with purpose.
