“I like Port Union Waterfront, walking by the trail overlooking the lake and listening to the waves – very calming”

Emily Forster

Emily brings over 10 years of real estate investment and management experience to the TAS Investments Team. Prior to working with TAS, Emily built her career at one of Canada’s largest urban office REITs specializing in acquisitions and asset management of character properties across the country. Being a member of a team that is narrowing the gap between profit-motivated development and socially conscious community building is what fuels her real estate passion.

In her spare time she loves spending time at her cottage in Kawartha Lakes with her best friend (pup Easton), listening to music, reading and recharging outdoors.

“The King-Niagara neighborhood has to be my favorite. The transformation of the area is really ramping up and seeing the community grow and thrive with great new retail to compliment the beautiful greenspace has been so exciting. It’s a great place to live!”

Rumaila Soin

Before coming to TAS, Rumaila managed the development of commercial and multi-family real estate projects at a large Toronto real estate company. She likes being part of a team that envisions and builds community spaces.

Her love of animals led her to volunteer at a shelter where she fell in love with her dog, Jacky. Jacky gets Rumaila outside for long walks, no matter what the weather. Rumaila enjoys reading suspenseful crime thrillers and watching baking shows.

“Dufferin Grove holds a special place in my heart because I have many cherished memories of growing up in that neighbourhood.”

Ashley Burke

Ashley brings a diverse background to TAS including experience in commercial and multi-family real estate development, investment, and sales/leasing, across western and central Canada.

In her spare time she occupies herself with all things food! She is an avid home chef and loves travelling and trying different cuisines.

“Dundas West is one of my favourite neighbourhoods because of the mixture between old and new, the cultural diversity, and of course the amazing restaurants!”
