Jai is a Vancouver transplant who brings with him experience in real estate development and acquisitions. In his free time, you might find him on a ski hill up north, on a sailboat in the middle of a body of water, or hosting a brunch for his friends.

Johnson Gao

Johnson has spent time in various roles including corporate finance, sales and trading, project management, and data analytics. Outside of work he enjoys discovering new music and weightlifting.

“My favourite neighbourhood is Bayview Village. It has a cozy atmosphere and is close to so many great walking trails.”

Robyn Shapiro

From yoga sessions to warm destinations, Robyn is always ready to face the heat. She’s a key player on acquisitions, joint venture, portfolio strategies, and business development strategies at TAS.

Khan Tran

Khan has 15 years of experience in finance and real estate with a focus on investments and asset management. He has held progressive leadership roles at PwC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CPP Investment Board. He is a certified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and also holds a BBA from Wilfred Laurier University. 

Khan is passionate about his family, taking time to enjoy the lighter things in life, and leveraging TAS’s platform to drive positive social and environmental impact. When he’s not chasing his kids around, he enjoys a good meal, following politics and watching mindless movies.

Amanda Yu

Amanda is driven by the idea of a sustainable built environment and passionate about economics, real-estate investment and social impact. She brings experience from the worlds of private equity and insurance. Amanda finds time to balance enjoying the outdoors – she loves to go hiking and discover new camping spots.
