Amy Xu

With a diverse background in development and design, Amy brings experiences ranging from underwriting major industrial assets to completing semesters in landscape architecture in Sydney and urban design in Boston on top of her business degree. You can catch her making ceramics, oil painting, hiking and rock climbing when she’s not browsing the city’s latest projects.

Johnson Gao

Johnson has spent time in various roles including corporate finance, sales and trading, project management, and data analytics. Outside of work he enjoys discovering new music and weightlifting.

“My favourite neighbourhood is Bayview Village. It has a cozy atmosphere and is close to so many great walking trails.”

Emily Forster

Emily brings over 10 years of real estate investment and management experience to the TAS Investments Team. Prior to working with TAS, Emily built her career at one of Canada’s largest urban office REITs specializing in acquisitions and asset management of character properties across the country. Being a member of a team that is narrowing the gap between profit-motivated development and socially conscious community building is what fuels her real estate passion.

In her spare time she loves spending time at her cottage in Kawartha Lakes with her best friend (pup Easton), listening to music, reading and recharging outdoors.

“The King-Niagara neighborhood has to be my favorite. The transformation of the area is really ramping up and seeing the community grow and thrive with great new retail to compliment the beautiful greenspace has been so exciting. It’s a great place to live!”

Ziana Moledina

Ziana brings an MSRED and passion for real-estate to TAS. In her off-time, she loves challenging herself to learn new skills and is currently exploring tennis and sewing.

Robyn Shapiro

From yoga sessions to warm destinations, Robyn is always ready to face the heat. She’s a key player on acquisitions, joint venture, portfolio strategies, and business development strategies at TAS.

Khan Tran

Khan has 15 years of experience in finance and real estate with a focus on investments and asset management. He has held progressive leadership roles at PwC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CPP Investment Board. He is a certified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and also holds a BBA from Wilfred Laurier University. 

Khan is passionate about his family, taking time to enjoy the lighter things in life, and leveraging TAS’s platform to drive positive social and environmental impact. When he’s not chasing his kids around, he enjoys a good meal, following politics and watching mindless movies.

Amanda Yu

Amanda is driven by the idea of a sustainable built environment and passionate about economics, real-estate investment and social impact. She brings experience from the worlds of private equity and insurance. Amanda finds time to balance enjoying the outdoors – she loves to go hiking and discover new camping spots.
